2984. Rufus LEONARD²⁸¹⁴ was born on 9 July 1809 in Stafford, CT.¹⁶⁵⁷ He died on 10 April 1867 at the age of 57 in Smyrna, Chenango Co., NY. He was a blacksmith living with his family in Smyrna in the 1850 Census. According to ECL, he had a fork shop in Smyrna. Doublecheck that this is the right Rufus. Rufus LEONARD and Abigail GREEN were married in 1832. Abigail GREEN, daughter of Jedidiah GREEN, was born on 6 November 1811 in Pocohomitt, RI. She died on 8 August 1849 at the age of 37 in Smyrna, Chenango Co., NY. She was buried in West Cemetery, Smyrna, NY.
