2017. Catherine LEONARD was born on 8 October 1818 in Edwardsburgh, Ontario, Canada. She died in September 1857 at the age of 38 in Papineau, Iriquois Co., IL. She was buried in Beaver Creek Cemetery, Papineau, Iroquois Co., IL.

Catherine LEONARD and John Benjamin POWLEY were married on 23 February 1836. John Benjamin POWLEY, son of James POWLEY and Rachel BABCOCK, was born on 3 January 1814 in Westbrook, Ontario, Canada. He died on 27 February 1895 at the age of 81 in IL. He sold land to Hiram Leonard on 24 October 1855.
