35. John Ashley LEONARD was born in May 1845 in Batavia, Genessee Co., NY. He died on 21 November 1911 at the age of 66 in Batavia, Genessee Co., NY. When his father died in 1874, he was living in Batavia, NY.

He was baggage master at the railroad station in Batavia. The family was living in Batavia in the 1880 Census.

John Ashley LEONARD and Nancy J. were married in 1874 in Batavia, Genessee Co., NY. Nancy J. was born in December 1848 in PA.

John Ashley LEONARD and Nancy J. had the following children:

69	i.	Maud LEONARD was born in 1873 in Batavia, Genessee Co., NY.
70	ii.	Frank A. LEONARD was born in March 1875 in Batavia, Genessee Co., NY. He was single in the 1930 Census, a laborer in a gun works, and apparently never married.
71	iii.	Calvin A. LEONARD was born about 1878 in Batavia, Genessee Co., NY.
